Be Part of Something Special by Joining Our Team at Pacific Hearing Service
Our Silicon Valley community leads the world in technology, but human intelligence and caring personal service are what drive better hearing healthcare.
Pacific Hearing Service is made up of an advanced team of clinical audiologists, audiology assistants, and patient care coordinators who have earned the trust of thousands of patients, local organizations, and local physicians. With nine doctors of audiology practicing in our two locations, we’re large enough to meet our patients’ needs but small enough to care.
Established as one of the first private audiology practices in the country, innovation and growth are parts of our personality. As we grow, we never lose sight of the heart, soul, and mission of our practice – helping more people in Silicon Valley achieve better communication and a greater connection to life.
We’re always on the lookout for incredible people to join us on this journey.
To us, the best team is made up of people who are motivated by caring and compassion, take a stake in the well-being of those entrusting us with their care, have an eagerness to learn and grow, and are willing to go beyond what is “expected” in order to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Reasons
// REASONS//
Three (Among Many) Reasons to Be a Part of the Pacific Hearing Team
#1 –Silicon Valley’s Most Trusted Hearing Care Experts
Since 1977, we have set the standard for audiological care in Silicon Valley but have also been influencers on a national scale. The audiologists at Pacific Hearing Service have been recognized by the American Academy of Audiology as Academy Scholars.
Also, the owners, Jane Baxter and Debbie Clark, in addition to the entire practice received Leo Doerfler Awards from the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, which is given in recognition of outstanding clinical service in the community.
As a part of the team, you will have an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of those who trust us with their hearing healthcare.
#2 – The Opportunity to Grow as the Business Grows
With plans to help more and more people in Silicon Valley gain access to the best in hearing healthcare, you’ll enjoy the benefits of growing with the practice.
Pacific Hearing Service is really only interested in two things – providing the best possible audiological care and support for each patient and the professional/personal growth and development of our team. When we do this well, everything else falls into place.
#3 – You Get to Be Involved in Something Bigger
Pacific Hearing Service is a charter member and takes a leadership role in the innovative audiology cooperative Entheos. Entheos, established in 2014, is committed to promoting best clinical practices and providing audiological services to people in need around the world.
Employees of Pacific Hearing Service are offered opportunities to volunteer with the Entheos team in places like Jordan, West Bank, Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Guatemala, and Ecuador.
On a local level, Pacific Hearing Service has offered Hearing Loss Management classes for more than 20 years as part of our commitment to the community. We also founded Pacific Hearing Connection, a local non-profit organization focused on providing hearing healthcare to underserved and underinsured residents in the Bay Area.
I started working at PHS in January 2020, right before the pandemic hit. In a time of uncertainty, PHS remained constant. Patient/staff safety was their number one priority, of course, but what meant the most to me is that they were incredibly understanding while the staff coped with our own personal changes from the pandemic—all of us hunkered down and got through it together, and it felt good to be a part of that. The owners are communicative and fair and they take time to listen to concerns and ideas. The environment is professional and friendly. I’ve worked in a number of offices and, truly, if you love helping others and working as a team, there’s really no better place.
