Allison is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. It was a great pleasure to work with her! Thank you!
Top notch service, top notch care. I needed a hearing check and couldn’t schedule anything asap due to the backlog of patients at another facility my doctor recommended. Her second recommendation was Pacific Hearing Service and I’m so glad I went with my gut and came here. I was able to get an appointment within a week. I saw Dr. Raguskus and she was very knowledgeable, was caring, and professional. Highly recommend this location for your hearing needs.
Great place! I came here for ear wax removal. Doctor did a thorough check up and treatment. It was all done in 20 mins. Importantly, doctors and the front desk are so caring and polite!!
This place is a gem. From the front desk staff to the audiologist who treats you in the treatment room, it’s just a great experience. I had muffled hearing due to ear wax buildup and Dr. Ashley did her magic by using the Earigator, a suction device, and manual extraction. It took multiple tries and all of the methods, but we cleared out both of my ears so that the world is very loud again. I love that they had the camera to be able to see into my ear canals and show me as well. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Very professional and friendly service!
I came for a first-time ear wax removal procedure and had never been to an audiology practice before, but after my first appointment with PHS it certainly won't be the last! Everything from my initial scheduling phone call to wrapping up my visit went absolutely swimmingly. I felt at ease throughout my stay and was cared for excellently as a patient - I can't speak highly enough of the team and professionals here. It was a very positive experience overall and I just know I'll be recommending Pacific Hearing to those in my life going forward!

Very polite. Out of network for all insurance but they will submit the claim after the appointment.
I went here for ear wax removal. My doctor's office had no appointments available for a month, and I made an appointment here for the next day! I met with Brook. She was great; pleasant and personable and most important very efficient and skilled. Highly recommend. Also, the front desk people were organized and nice.
Professional Friendly Excellent care through the years!!!! Brook, Thank you
Always feel I have been heard and my concerns
taken seriously. I appreciate the personal connection with Brook.
I just wanted to write and thank you so very, very much for helping my mom with her hearing aids. She is hearing SO much better and it makes such a huge difference for the both of us. I know she is having some cognitive issues that make things harder so I also really appreciated the other tips you gave me about how best to communicate with her. I am trying to do shorter sentences and slower (always a challenge for me).
Jane, you are such a skilled audiologist but, even more importantly, you are such a kind, warm and compassionate person and I am more grateful than I can say for all your support.
The audiologists here are fantastic! Great service and care for me as a patient. I got my custom-fitted earplugs here about 8 years ago and have been using them ever since. Also have gotten my ear wax removed here a couple of times. This is definitely my go-to place for my hearing needs.
I came here for an ear wax removal after feeling a bit stuffed up for the last few weeks. I called to make an appointment and they had next day availability which was super great!
Once I arrived at my appointment, I was seated in the waiting room for about 15 minutes. I had no idea what to expect as I hadn't had a wax removal before. However, the process was quite straightforward and very comfortable! I believe I saw Dr. Ashley (my apologies if I spelled this incorrectly), and she was very informative and gentle when removing the wax from my ears. It didn't take more than 10 minutes and I felt so much better afterwards!
These folks are courteous and competent. They have been a huge help in improving my mom’s hearing life. Thank you!
I just went today to get ear wax removed. They found that I had no ear wax and that I wouldn't benefit from the ear wax removal procedure. They did not charge me at all! This says volumes. I scheduled an appointment with them for something else based on this one excellent visit. I really wish I had found them sooner.
thanks for giving me new ears dr brooks
I'm so grateful for randomly discovering this clinic searching for ear wax removal. I tend to overuse q-tips so I was worried about having a clogged ear due to some pain I've been experiencing. Dr. Valerie is amazing and her positive mood and wonderful attitude always makes me feel well taken care of. She discovered the pain was not due to any ear wax buildup and referred who I should see next to get to the bottom of it. I received better care than my own general practitioner and had better clarity on which medical doctor to seek next. Thanks Pacific Hearing Service !!!
I have been a Pacific Hearing (Menlo Park) customer for 4 years and was referred there by my mom (in her eighties at the time). I saw how my mom’s quality of life improved after her hearing improved from getting hearing aids. So I decided to have Dr Baxter evaluate me.
I had become increasingly aware that my hearing was getting worse. When I was in group meetings or social gatherings, I couldn’t hear everything that people were saying. Increasingly, I had to ask people to repeat what they said, which became embarrassing and tiresome. My other options were to not respond to a comment or question, or worse - to guess what they said.
I decided that the ability to hear was a priority for me as a businessman and personally. I needed to be able to hear.
Dr Baxter and the entire Pacific Hearing staff are very professional without being stuffy. The battery of hearing tests were very thorough and her diagnosis and explanations were easy to understand. She presented a range of hearing aid options and price points for me to choose from. I never felt that she was trying to sell me anything. Her clear goal was to provide solutions for my hearing loss that fit my budget as well as my needs.
I ended up getting WIDEX hearing aids. Based on my hearing test results, Dr Baxter “tuned” them to amplify specific sounds that I could no longer hear. Sounds that I could still hear were not amplified. Then the hearing aids were linked to my phone which allows me to make some adjustments on the fly in different situations (lots of background noise, etc). Cosmetically, they are not very noticeable.
The particular model of hearing aids I chose was a major purchase for me. But they provided the hearing quality that helped me the most. Dr Baxter let me test drive the hearing aids for a week to decide if they were worth the investment. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
I wear my hearing aids everyday for 12+ hrs. My life is so much better because now I can hear all the time! I hear the people talking to me, I hear relevant conversations around me at work and home, I can hear different pitches of music, cars approaching from behind when I’m walking, and I don’t need the TV to be so loud. On and on. There is so much I would miss out on if I wasn’t able to hear. All of the above has improved the quality of my life.
I highly recommend Pacific Hearing and Dr Baxter (since she was the one that helped me. I think everyone is good). I consider them to be hearing experts and best of class.

The staff at Pacific Hearing Service (Menlo Park branch) are truly professional.
Thank you Dr. Valerie Kun, for your professionalism and thoroughness in the examination of my father, who is experiencing moderate hearing problem and tinnitus.
You were easy to talk to, and you generously catered to our myriad questions. Needless to say, you left an indelible impression on us.
We are very glad that you are working with us and wish you the very best.
Sincerely,
-Nasim
Pacific Hearing Service, with a shout out to Dr Clark and Vickie, went above and beyond for my 90 year old father who misplaced his hearing aids. Pacific Hearing worked hard to give my father some alternatives until his new hearing aids arrived. During my father's hearing evaluation and test, my father felt Dr Clark explained all aspects of his hearing test and aids very well! Thank you Dr. Clark, Vickie and the whole team at Pacific Hearing Service. We recommend you with 5+ stars!
Pacific Hearing Service is top notch! I had issues with my previous hearing aids from another hearing aid provider and came to Pacific Hearing Service to see if they could help find a good solution for my time sensitive situation. They moved fast to make time to see me, were very knowledgeable about the science of hearing, well informed about their hearing aid products and provided a warm sense of kindness that really made the whole experience comforting and enjoyable. Dr. Debbie Clarke and Valerie Kun modeled great professionalism and expertise and continued to exhibit this on return visits. If you're looking for a place where you will feel cared for and be provided best in class knowledge and service, look no further, Pacific Hearing Service has it all!
Pacific Hearing Service in Los Altos does a terrific job. I worked with Dr. Deborah Wilson Clark Au. D. and she was highly knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and professional. Dr. Clark and the staff are really organized and client-centric. They also give back to the community, including missions to underdeveloped parts of the world to help with hearing care and education. Highly recommended!
First time at this office and Au.D Becky treated me like I've been a long time client very friendly and knowledgeable I highly recommend coming here for cleanings it was a very pleasant visit. I was in and out in under 15 minutes and got my 100% clear hearing back.
I went today to have ear wax (plug in left ear) removed. Dr. Peg Lisi was excellent at analyzing the situation with a high-resolution camera, and found out that my right ear had signficant wax build up as well. She is a great communicator and used the various tools so that any discomfort was minimized. I was impressed by the professional set up in the office (it felt almost like I was in a dental office, from the point of view of equipment). This was a very different (and significantly better) experience than Kaiser Permanente, where I was with the same problem about 3 year ago. At Kaiser, a nurse used relatively modest equipment under supervision by a general physician. Co-pay at Kaiser was $130, while at Pacific Hearing, the entire procedure was $85! I recommend to others to consider Pacific Hearing, and I personally will definitely go there again with any hearing issues.
Outstanding business, outstanding people. I have been working with these fine folks for well over 5 years, first to help with my father's hearing needs and now with mine. The founders--Dr. Baxter and Dr. Clark--are caring entrepreneurs who give back to the community and hire excellent staff. Today (and before) I met with Dr. Raguscus ("Brook"). She is knowledgeable, responsive, capable, and delightful to work with. Can't speak highly enough about Pacific Hearing. BTW, I don't mean to overlook the support staff: Excellent!
I just came back from a hearing aid cleaning and wax removal from my ears. They were extremely well organized. Patients were screened and then separated, each then welcomed inside separately, rooms were marked as "clean" or "used" -- the rooms were obviously cleaned between well space use. I felt 100% safe and it was all done with the usual staff, now gloved and masked, a staff that is always friendly, helpful and polite.
Had issues with my ear and went here to see if they could solve my problem. Very nice and professional in every aspect. Dr. Brook Raguskus, Au.D. addressed all my concerns and questions as well as informed me of how my issues were created! Cannot recommend this place more and will make this my permanent place when I need an audiologist
I'd give six stars if that was possible. Dr. Ariel Fruendt is excellent and everyone in the office is highly professional, competent, and patient-focused.
