Clinical Audiologist
Menlo Park office

I am from Madison, WI. I received my undergraduate in communicative disorders and a master’s degree in audiology from SF State University, and my doctorate from the University of Florida, Gainesville.

I was (and still am) a professional classical and opera singer. After several years of performing throughout the country, I decided to embark on a new career closer to home. I went back to school to study “communicative disorders,” intending to become a voice therapist. But while in school, I had an audiometry class with Debbie Clark (PHS owner) and discovered a passion for audiology. So now I have two careers: audiologist by day and singer by night!

There’s never a dull moment here! PHS is constantly evolving, seeking ways to improve the quality of service we provide with a commitment to deepening our knowledge and expanding our skills as individuals and as a team.

We never sit around saying, “Wow – we’re doing really well.” Instead, we say, “Gee, we’re doing well, but what else could we do to serve the needs of our patients and the community at large even better?”

I’m a “people person” and really enjoy connecting with our patients. I’m a good teacher and moderator (skills I’m able to exercise one-on-one and in the classes we offer at PHS), and I’m joyful with a good sense of humor!

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and eating well, fun forms of exercise (such as dance, biking, yoga), going to the theater, and, of course, singing!
