Gladys is from San Diego and she received her bachelor of arts degree at Sacramento State University.

As our patient care coordinator, Gladys’ day revolves around supporting each patient in various ways throughout their better hearing journey. Her role includes welcoming visitors as well as scheduling appointments, troubleshooting hearing aids, and listening to patients’ concerns or questions about hearing instruments.

Gladys loves working alongside a diverse, caring, and supportive team. She notes that everyone at Pacific Hearing Service genuinely cares about the patients and actively communicates with them. Every day is a learning experience for Gladys, and she has learned so much about hearing healthcare, as well as patient care, through her team members.

Although she enjoys all aspects of her work, Gladys especially appreciates it when a patient asks for her name in anticipation of future appointments – following a hearing aid cleaning or successful pairing to a phone app.

Gladys spends her free time painting with her favorite art mediums, watercolor and ink, as well as exploring new craft activities. She can also be found attending various museum exhibits, exploring new food spots, and taking care of her plants.
