As of April 3, the state of California has lifted the requirement for masks in healthcare settings, but continues to recommend them for vulnerable populations and when respiratory illnesses are prevalent.

At Pacific Hearing Service, your health and safety, as well as that of our staff, remain our top priorities. We understand that many of our patients may belong to vulnerable groups and are at risk of severe complications from respiratory infections.

To ensure everyone’s well-being, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:

1. Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell or believe you could be contagious.

2. Practice good hygiene: wash your hands, cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing, and use hand sanitizer upon entering our clinic.

3. Masks will still be available for all patients and visitors. We encourage you to wear one if you have been exposed to someone with a respiratory illness or if you are part of a vulnerable population. We will continue to use HEPA filters in all of our treatment rooms.

Although this is a positive step in the right direction and allows us to put the memories of COVID in the rearview mirror, your comfort and confidence are incredibly important to us.

Therefore, we’ll continue to do whatever it takes to accommodate you, including wearing masks at your request and encouraging you to wait in your car or a separate room ahead of your appointment if you wish.

Please let us know if you would like additional COVID accommodations for your appointments. Click the button for a callback, and we will gladly update your preferences.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to continuing to provide you with the highest level of care in a safe and comfortable environment.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
