Because they allow you to reconnect with the world around you and the people you love, hearing aids are among the best tools for treating permanent hearing loss.

However, your hearing needs, lifestyle, and personal preferences vary from others, so the best hearing aids for one person may not provide the right solution for someone else.

As an independent, local hearing care provider, Pacific Hearing Service can provide you with access to a wide range of advanced hearing care solutions from the world’s best hearing aid manufacturers.

Hearing Care Is More Than Hearing Aids

We offer so many hearing aid options at Pacific Hearing Service because we fit the hearing aid to the person instead of the person to the hearing aid.

What does that mean?

That means that our focus is on helping you find the best possible solution to fit your specific needs. We look at what we do like a mechanic might look into their toolbox. Instead of reaching for a single tool as the only solution for every hearing challenge, we try to find the right tool.

Along with addressing your hearing loss through a comprehensive assessment, we also make sure your hearing aids will be the right fit for your lifestyle and the types of activities that are a part of it. In addition, we take your personal preferences, like your level of tech savvy and the amount of wearing discretion you’re comfortable with, into consideration.

Prioritizing Your Hearing Health Journey

Rather than being the end, we see hearing aids as being the beginning of your hearing health journey, using a hearing care partnership approach that prioritizes helping you meet your better hearing goals.

Our approach to professional hearing care includes ongoing support to ensure that you get the most benefit out of your hearing aids and enjoy an improved quality of life. To accomplish our objective, we provide you with access to a wide range of support services, such as:

Ariel Fruendt, Au.D.

I went to school at Northwestern University for my undergraduate degree and Au.D. I completed my clinical externship at UCSF Medical Center, then worked in private practice. We moved to Chicago for my husband’s job and I worked in private practice there before joining the clinical faculty at Northwestern University’s on-campus clinic. I served as a preceptor for Au.D. students, focusing on adult diagnostics and treatment, tinnitus management, and hearing conservation. I also taught ethics in audiology courses and oversaw an amplification lecture series. My favorite thing about Pacific Hearing Service is the dynamic and supportive team environment that always puts the patient first, with dedication to using evidence-based practice in our everyday protocols.
