Brianne grew up in Minnesota and attended Iowa State University, where she studied engineering for her undergraduate degree. Her professional experience includes working with medical devices. She also knows a bit of American Sign Language.
Brianne soon realized that she missed having interactions with patients and decided working in audiology would be a natural fit. She says, “Audiology is a great way to combine medical devices, patient interactions, and use some ASL.”
Brianne completed her extern year at Pacific Hearing Service’s Menlo Park office. She spends half of her time observing audiologists and the other half of her time performing supervised hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings. Brianne is also learning how to perform earwax removals. She loves helping people and creating relationships with her patients.
In her free time, Brianne enjoys baking, crafts, puzzles, and spending time with her family.
