Diana Gutierrez

Diana grew up in Villavicencio, Meta, Colombia. She studied speech therapy and specialized in audiology in Bogota.When exploring potential careers, Diana says she looked for a profession that was related to healthcare and involved helping children and the elderly. Audiology matched her interests perfectly!Currently at Pacific Hearing Service, Diana performs electroacoustic tests on patients’ hearing aids. She cleans hearing aids, prepares hearing aid loaners for patients, installs hearing aid apps so that the patient can use them with their phone, and checks hearing aids and molds that come back from repairs.Diana thoroughly loves helping people who are in some way vulnerable due to their hearing condition. She likes that they can connect with the world again and how much their social and communicative performance improves through the use of hearing aids. Diana likes to see patients smile when they feel that their hearing has improved and they no longer feel isolated from society.
In her free time, Diana enjoys going shopping with her family, cleaning her apartment, cooking, going for walks and walking her dog, participating in family activities, and dancing.
