Garrett Canavero

Garrett was born and raised in Santa Clara, CA, and has lived in the area for most of his life, except for a brief period in Los Angeles for work. He earned a degree in business administration from San Jose State University, concentrating on global operations management.After spending much of his early career in various manufacturing roles, Garrett decided to pursue a more stable and meaningful career path. Recognizing that healthcare is an industry with constant demand, he began applying for different positions and was fortunate enough to secure an interview with Pacific Hearing Service, which led him to his current role.Garrett’s day-to-day responsibilities are quite varied, making every day unique. His role involves a wide range of tasks, such as troubleshooting IT issues at both offices, auditing stock, performing off-site installations of streaming devices, integrating new technologies into the organization, and building desks or hanging pictures (if he’s lucky!).Garrett loves the diversity of tasks and how no two days are ever the same. He finds that the constant evolution and improvement within the office keeps things interesting. He also particularly enjoys installing TV streamers for our patients. While some installations are straightforward, others require extensive troubleshooting, but the reward is always the same – seeing a patient’s face light up when the device successfully streams audio through their hearing aids.Outside of work, Garrett stays active with soccer, volleyball, paintball, and weightlifting. He also enjoys building watches, mixing drinks, and hosting dinner and cocktail parties.
