Janna was born in Santa Clara, CA, but grew up and spent most of her life in San Jose, CA. She received herbachelor’s degree in psychology from San Jose State University.Working within the world of hearing care appealed to Janna because she loves to help people. Within an audiology context, this means helping and essentially teaching patients about their hearing health and what kinds of services, treatments, and/or devices would help them on a daily basis.As our patient care coordinator, Janna’s workday includes scheduling appointments, going over various services with patients, teaching patients how to use their hearing devices, and getting to know our patients to ensure they receive the care they need.Janna especially loves how the Pacific Hearing Service team meets patients’ needs with the quality care they provide. She shares that it’s a great feeling knowing that the team helps people and changes their lives. Janna says it makes her day when patients say that they enjoy coming by the office because of our team, care, and chocolates.Outside of the office, Janna enjoys seeing her family and friends, but she spends the majority of her time with her dog named Boo, who is half Shar Pei, half Doberman. Janna also likes playing/watching basketball, being outdoors (hiking, going to the beach, sightseeing, etc.), cooking, and trying out new restaurants.
